"And then we kissed, and kissed some more, then we told each other we loved each other, and then we kissed some more." This was the moment after Andrew asked Christina to marry him and she of course said 'yes'.
One of the best parts about being a photographer is you never know what the next photography session is going to bring you. Christina and Andrew told me that they wanted to do their engagement session at Raven Rock State Park and I was game. We photographed their session on 11.19.17 and brisk fall day. They told me there would be some moderate hiking involved. They really wanted to hike down to "the rock" where Andrew proposed on August 18th, 2018. To get to this spot you have to hike down the Fish Trap Trails. It was about a mile hike in, but you do have to watch your step especially since I don't want tumble and break more than a camera. We made it down there and it was worth it. We timed it just right to get some amazing images including some spectacular sunset images. Another important part of Christina and Andrew's story is that Raven Rock is where they also had their 1st date. They both enjoy active lifestyles and being outdoors is a big part of their lives as a couple. It was a great session with Christina and Andrew. If you ever make it to Raven State Park, I would highly suggest heading down the Fish Trap Trails to "the rock" (or maybe it should be called "kissing rock") and soak in the beautiful scenery. Can't wait to capture the next part of Christina and Andrew's love story in Ocean Aisle Beach, NC 08.18.18. Please enjoy some of the highlights from their session and feel free to share!
