As a professional wedding photographer, I get asked all the time by my couples what they should wear for their engagement session. So, I decided to put together a what to wear guide. It is full inspiration, tips and tricks to make your engagement session the best experience possible.
We always recommend having a “First Look” on the day of the wedding with you and your significant other. If you are dead set on seeing each other for the first time during the Ceremony, we totally support it, however if you’re on the fence or not quite sure what the benefits of seeing each other before-hand are, hopefully you’ll find this info useful on our stance regarding the “First Look”.
I'm not sure what a First Look is?
The “First Look” (aka “the reveal”) is a moment where you and your soon to be husband/wife see each other for the first time on the wedding day. Traditionally, a couple would see each other for the first time as they walk down the aisle in front of all their guests, but in recent years couples have opted more and more to see each other beforehand. You can opt to have it privately between just the two of you, or invite a few of your wedding party/family members to enjoy and revel in the moment as well. Whoever started this trend was a genius, because there are so many advantages to doing so. There really are only Pros.
We know how overwhelming wedding planning can be! So here is a list of our most frequently asked questions. Feel free to contact us anytime with any additional questions you may have for us.
Choosing a wedding DJ can be a difficult task. Unlike photographers who have a portfolio to help sell their work, caterers who let you taste their food, florists who have flowers you can smell, DJ's don't really have a way to show themselves off easily. They can’t exactly give you a private show, so what can you do to see if a DJ is going to be a good fit for your big day? After doing 100's of wedding you know the good from the bad and I’d love to share with you when making your selection.
