Holiday Photos Can be Timeless...
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!
From our photo family to yours, we would like to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday!!
This time of year is one of the main times throughout the year that we gather gather together to celebrate! As you surround yourself with friends and family challenge yourself to preserve these moments for posterity. Many will use social media platforms to snap a quick shot and share a glimpse of the event. This is a good way to share with people. But we want to encourage you to try to take it one step further. Switch to camera mode on your phone and take photos that will stand the test of time. Try to tell the story of the moment. For example, you know that there is a special present under the tree for your young son or daughter and you want to document their excitement during the big reveal. Before they tear into the colorful paper... Think about how you can best convey the energy they will be charged with upon seeing that amazing gift. Look at the setting and decide where you should be positioned to give the best vantage point. Do you want a wide angle shot from the front, or would trying a unique angle (like a view through the boughs of the tree to give it a fun flare) be more interesting. Then consider the lighting. Is it too dark to see the details? Can you use the decorative tree lights in a poorly lit room to enhance the photo? Will the window lighting add a warm glow? By giving a few seconds of thought to your images you capture timeless images.
Holidays are a time for reflection. We take the time to be thankful for our family, grateful for our friends, appreciative of attaining our goals, and much more! Throughout the year we have had the great pleasure to share in some of the most special moments of so many terrific people lives. We have been inspired by you to create the best images yet! Thank you for being our muse!
As you share in festive moments with the ones you love, our wish for you is for the best today ever and an even better tomorrow!! Peace, happiness, and joy!!
Happy holidays!
