This was our first destination wedding in 2017. We traveled to the Isle of Palms, SC where Abbie & James were married on March 18th, 2017. Charleston held a special place in Abbie's heart since she graduated from the College of Charleston. The other significant aspect was choosing to get married on St. Patrick's Day weekend to tie in James Irish heritage. Abbie & James rented a house on the beach in the Isle of Palm which is about 15 minutes from Downtown Charleston. The house and location provided a beautiful backdrop for their special day. The wedding was an intimate gathering attended by family and few close friends. James mother traveled from Ireland to witness the nuptials. The weather for the most part was really nice, but late in the day it did turn a bit cool and windy. But that is par for course for a March wedding on the beach. Here are a few highlights from Abbie & James wedding day!
